years ago i used to frequent a wendy's on 3rd ave near 57th st. there was a very exotic cahsier my friend and i used to always chat with, and then say to ourselves how gorgeous she was and how we should pluck her out of there and send her to a modeling agency...weell..flash forward 9 years...and while little old me was in between luxury hopping on my b day... i popped into the hermes shop on madison ave where i was long overdue to visit a friend of mine, so he was there and he gave me the grand tour...and low and behold, ladyfriend from wendys was up in there workin it! i knew who she was immediately and it took everything i had not to howl...i said to her how familiar she looked ( and she rememeberedme too) and gave her a knowing smile. it felt great to see her looking so fierce, and apparantly doing quite well. hermes is no joke, and would be a fine ass gig in my opinion!

day off today. yay. its going to ba a loooong day. but ia am happy beause i scored tix to the RSSN show tonight with my fave band of the moment TPC. its too dang cold, and i have a lot of outside/commuting/bus time ahead of me. first its all the way uptown for a dr appt. squeezing those in before i'm hanging a few months without insurance, or maybe i have cobra... whatever. then i have to haul to the PA. (yeeeesh) and catch a bus headed south. my ride in toms river leaves PROMPTLY at 4 to get into AC for an early dinner/drinks and then the show at 8 ish. i'll be catching naps at ny given moment. its all good. all in the name of rock and roll.

my delicious neighbor has been mIA. until two nights ago.

it was about 11 45pm and my door was open while mica had her evening roam around the hall of the bldg.
all of a sudden a very cute young man appeared at my door, in a suit. i was like um, hi! he was like, hey how are you? he advised he has been working the 12 to 8am shift (foreign banking) i said oh . he asked me to have lunch monday, my day off. thats all.

i dont want to have lunch with him.

i'm over it.

i've spent the better part of today doing laundry and stuff around the apt trying hard to put the flashbacks of a dream together and of course, preening for edge's arrival. it feels so female. i think of those national geographic shows when most all female mammals preen for their mates. preening for a male feels completely different than for say, a night out with the girls, although that is usually done for men too but its different. when its a given she'll be taking a lover in say, 2 more hours, the female wants to be ready. i'll save the part when the male leaves after the act and the female goes psycho. just kidding- edge is planning on staying over with me tonight and i'm already basking in the deliciousness of it all. i have pre neutron(insert link here if you can because i can not) hallucinatory endorphins kicking in and all of my reasoning goes out the window somewhere near cadman plaza west.
